We specialise in traditional linens, mainly pure Irish linen sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers, also table linens, traditional huckaback towels for the bathroom and linen kitchen/tea towels.
It's important to mention that all items labelled 'linen' to be found in our online shop are exactly as described - they derive from the fibres of Linum usitatissimum, the blue-flowered flax plant. This is an important distinction, for our pure Irish linens are produced entirely within the EU from ecologically sustainable sources and under sweatshop-free conditions. For these reasons alone, Irish linen is more desirable than synthetic fabrics and mass produced cotton (certified organic cotton excepted), not forgetting flax linen's superior durability and characterful qualities.
You may also be interested in our own blend of natural air-dried flower confetti blends with romantic names such as "Splendour in the Blossom" and "Sunlight of the Grove". Ingredients include red rose petals, aromatic lavender, pink rosebuds, cornflower petals, creamy Roman chamomile, flowers, blue mallow and delicate larkspur petals.
We're enthused about our antique and vintage inspired costume jewellery collections, many pieces include authentic early vintage components dating from the 1920s - including big art nouveau inspired dangling earrings; elegant art deco elements jewellery and pure silk ribbon necklaces made by Wisteria Wylde.
Our collection of Vintage Bohemian style guest books, photo albums and memory boxes are truly unique. Although a few are designed specifically for weddings, any of these books, albums and boxes would be wonderful for commemorating other occasions and celebrations such as milestone birthdays and anniversaries, Made from handmade lokta and mulberry papers, we embellish the books with such adornments as handloom silk dupion fabrics; real pressed flowers, handmade pure silk roses, genuine vintage and antique lace dating from the Victorian and Edwardian eras through to the 1940s, together with other beautiful elements.
We also offer a small collection of butler's trays, cupboards, tables and cabinets - all hand built from solid wood with distressed finishes for lovers of 'shabby' style. Also, a collection of coloured glass cabinet knobs and sprung turning knobs to bejewel your doors and furniture.
